Actually, I got them on clearance at Walgreens. The shaking hands because of the damn lithium have gotten no better. I moped at my inability to paint my nails for a bit, but then decided to make fun of a bad situation. Voila! Fancy fake nails!!! I have never done this before, and feel kind of like a dinosaur with talons. I now understand why there are nail salons everywhere. I am surprised more people don't make dinosaur noises walking out though.
I have recently developed a nail polish addiction. It has gotten a bit expensive as I own 37 bottles with 3 just ordered online and this addiction is less than 6 months old. Having my nails done makes me feel nice about myself because they look pretty and I work hard at it. I think it is a relatively healthy addiction (minus the chemicals...)and it's fun!

Haha, I completely understand! Sometimes it's just the little things we need to make us smile. And if it's a pop of color on our nails, so be it!!! :)

ReplyDeleteI share your frustration. I usually just go have my nails done professionally rather than botch it up and damage my nails in the process. Much more convenient in the long run.
